Sambuca with the Houston Food Bloggers Collective

hello there, loves!

Oh my, oh my Stacy over at The Hurried Hostess invited me to be her plus one at a Houston Food Blogger Collective event and today I am sharing it with you. Of course,  I am no food blogger but I love to eat. E and I do share our dinners from time to time on here, so I am not one to turn away food or drinks.  I mean who does that?

The event was held at Sambuca in Downtown Houston and while I have been there before it was so nice to have a space that was set aside just for bloggers so they could take pictures and mingle and of course eat.

The food was delicious 😆 I mean look at this beautifulness down there 🤤.

I have to send a special thank you to Stacy for getting me out of the house, it was fun to get out with you and it not be at a wedding we are photographing 😂.

There were lobster deviled eggs, croquettes, meat and cheese

Sun-dried Tomato Basil Risotto Croquettes These were my favorite! I wish I would've had more honestly I wouldn't have minded walking out looking like a chipmunk to sneak some more of these out with me.

Lobster Deviled Eggs, they were pretty good there is just a very smokey taste at the end of it which was a little surprise. I am not a lover of smoked foods so I couldve done without it but otherwise these were delicious.

Superbowl Turkey Chili

I'm sure by now you watched the big game, and that half time show.  The game was great, I was rooting for Atlanta but it just didn't happen and as E says you can't ever count out Tom Brady.  The half time show I think was pumped up a little too much for the performance that was given, just my opinion and I like Lady Gaga. It started strong! Still very happy that it was in our hometown! 💕

We had planned for my parents to come over and my mom isn't a fan of beef so we decided to make a turkey chili which yesterday was one of the warmer days in Houston, of course.  But we just beefed up the A/C and enjoyed our turkey chili.

As usual I find all of my recipe on Pinterest and I stumbled across this recipe from the Ambitious Kitchen and it was so delicious.  It had a little bit of everything and was so easy to make which I notice now with a newborn is something you definitely want.

I'm so excited that we had leftovers because I plan to pair it up with some Fritos and have an easy lunch because I literally only get 5 minutes to eat before mommy duty kicks back in.

Any recipes you want E and I to try, send them our way and we will!
