Showing Off-The-Shoulder for Summer

Whew! This week is flying my loves and I can't believe the weekend is almost here.

I wanted to share with you guys this new top I picked up from Old Navy.  It is absolutely perfect for the summer.  With the weather being so up and down here in all of the states {northern friends I feel for you} wearing clothing out of the house can be unpredictable to say the least.

But we are in Houston and Texas heat can be no joke.  I love this top because it is perfect for taking J to the park and then transforming into the perfect evening outfit with just a change of shoes, or pants.

I haven't showed shoulder in quite a while and with all of the off-the-shoulders cute tops I have seen all over instagram, I couldn't wait to get my hands on one.

I wasn't sure this color was going to suit me, but I really love it.  I have absolutely no green in my wardrobe besides camo and with the bright colors arriving for summer, I felt like this one was perfect.

It is bright and colorful enough to wear all summer long, I am also super excited to pack it for our cruise later this year.

I paired my off-the-shoulder with a pair of distressed denim and some sandals but I can see this with shorts and some vans or even some jeggings with pointy toed flat.  I can totally do some more insta-stories with how to pair outfits with shoes if that is what you guys are looking for.

Staying Casual With Keeping it Sassy

hi guys!  So excited that it is Friday, yesterday I wasn't feeling all that well and I am going to blame it on coffee withdraws.  I want to stop drinking so much coffee because I know it ultimately isn't good for my body.  But maybe I will start on a weekend or something, lol.

I decided to put together this really cute, casual-sassy outfit for today. I love heels but my wear time in them are minimum.  I need to get better at wearing heels, I just really prefer strappy heels instead of closed toe heels and wedges are my favorite! Well technically running shoes are my favorite!

What are you guys up to this weekend?
